PTSA President's Welcome
Welcome Wilson Families,
I hope each of you spent time with your loved ones and took some time off to recharge. I found some downtime and spent precious moments with my family and friends.
Wilson PTSA (Parent, Teacher, Student Association) is planning for the new school year as we move to our next chapter with the “Uniform Policy Option Out”. Wilson HS PTSA provided uniforms/spirit wear to the student body and families for over 20 years and was the main source of funding for the Wilson PTSA. It has allowed us to support ASB, Prom and Winter Formal tickets, Senior Breakfast, College and Career, Grad Night and Staff/Teachers, Student Events, Scholarships and much more. Change is challenging, but this year will bring new ideas and sell different products and designs in the Bear Store (located in the quad) and online at wilsonbearstore.com. Stay connected as you won’t want to miss out!
PTSA anticipates a decrease of ½ the income this year with the new policy regarding: students not required to wear uniforms. We will be reaching out to our families, community, and alumni for sponsorships and donations. Wilson PTSA’s mission is to give right back to as many students as we can every year. We ask and hope that each of you will join, give and share our vision.
Please reach out to any of us if you can give your time, sponsor an event, sponsor a banner, and/or share a talent. PTSA (Officers and Committees) works together and collaborates with the teachers & staff to serve the Wilson Community.
